Kapitolyo is fast becoming a food hub, featuring a multitude of cuisines available in a range of prices that can satisfy every craving and match any budget. I live nearby so Kapitolyo is usually my default place to eat when I’m in a hurry and looking for some place quick.
I took my friends to one of my favorite restaurants in Kapitolyo, Rub Ribs and BBQ.
For a start, I always come here for the ribs. They are just great. Their signature barbecue glazed sauce and along with their ribs is what most people crave. The meat was tender & easily slides off the bone. The serving was very generous. I love to pair it with potato fries, roasted garlic mashed potato and/or bacon and potato salad but honestly, any sides will do.

Their fried chicken is good. The crispy texture and the juice coming from the meat means its not dry.
Rub Fried Chicken (P 260)
As for my entree, I opted for their chicken cajun pasta. It was so-so, but the frigging ribs! OH MAN!

And of course, the mandatory group photo. 🙂
Other food to try:
Buffalo Chicken Wings (P 260)
Fish and Chips (P 230)
Mussels and Fries (P 250)
Pizzadilla (P 210)
Nice ambiance and the place is always full packed regardless of what day. From 11 am until closing, you have to fall in line and wait until it’s your turn. The service is very good and the waiters are clearly a notch above average.
Bon appétit, mon chéri!
