“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it.” – Jesse Jackson

Self-confidence is often a more important asset than skill, knowledge, or even experience. Without it you can be paralyzed with doubt, guilt, indecision, and go through life rudderless, without aim or meaning.

Those who have enough confidence in their own minds and independence of thought often achieve their goals and dreams in life and can be genuinely happy for someone else’s accomplishments.

Those who lack self-confidence have allowed the outside world to influence their self-perception. They are on the damaging side of events. They view life with all the negative memories attached and typically do not easily succeed in many areas of their lives.

Self-confidence lies within each of us, but building and revealing it is the challenge everybody must face in order to rise to personal and professional success. We cannot give or just take it from someone else. It can be developed, healed, and luckily, we can teach ourselves to be confident.
