What is it with isaw that very few of us can resist? Isaw or skewered intestine is a common street food in the Philippines, made from barbecued pig or chicken intestines. It is cleaned inside and out, and marinated before it is boiled and grilled.
It was my friend Lilian who introduced this and since then, every time we hangout at their place in Sikatuna Village we’d drop by at Mang Larry’s. I also take my running buddies here every after our running sessions. That day, I went with my kikay friends (former officemates) Yammy, Yza and her boyfriend Raymart. Mind you, mas kikay pa sa akin ang mga yan but to my surprise… Mas cowboy pa pala sila sa akin. Haha!
